Day 1: Foum Zguid - Village of Sidi Abdenabi
Departure from Foum Zguid in 4x4 :
Embark on an adventure through the desert landscapes. Your first stop is the Al-Ajirimiyah Oasis for a refreshing break. Continue to Al-Zirg and explore the region's fascinating fossils.
Arrival in the village of Zaouiat Sidi Abdenabi (around 4:00 p.m.) :
- Relax while enjoying a traditional tea outdoors.
- Just a short walk from the village, discover the historic Kasbah and immerse yourself in local history.
Return to the guest house :
A convivial dinner awaits you, followed by a comfortable overnight stay in traditional rooms, offering a total immersion in the local way of life.
Day 2: Rock Engravings and Wadi Al-Aish
After breakfast :
The adventure continues with an excursion to the mysterious rock carvings, easily accessible and bearing witness to the ancient history of the region.
Lunch on the banks of the Oued Al-Aish :
Enjoy a peaceful lunch on the banks of Wadi Al-Aish, where bodies of water form around the rocks, providing a calming setting. Finish with tea in the shade of an acacia tree.
Return to the village :
Explore the simple and authentic life of the Bedouins, discover their cultural traditions and their agriculture.
Dinner at the guesthouse :
Desert couscous, prepared with local and natural vegetables, awaits you to end this day full of discoveries.
Day 3: The Dunes of Erg Lmhazil
Arrival at the dunes (around 5:00 p.m.) :
- Warm welcome at the traditional bivouac.
- Go for an unforgettable 30-minute camel ride through the dunes.
- Enjoy an al fresco dinner, followed by musical entertainment around the fire, creating a magical atmosphere under the stars.
Stargazing :
Take a moment to observe the constellations in an exceptionally clear desert sky.
Overnight stay in traditional tents :
Spend the night in comfortable, family-friendly tents, offering an authentic desert experience.
Day 4: Return to Foum Zguid
Early morning wake-up :
Wake up to admire the sunrise from the highest dune, an unforgettable spectacle that marks the end of your adventure. Enjoy the fresh desert air and breakfast al fresco.
Return to Foum Zguid :
Hit the road again in a 4x4, your head full of memories and magnificent landscapes.
