Day 1: Foum Zguid - Sands of Arg al-Ghoul
Departure in the afternoon by 4x4 from the center of Foum Zguid
Head to the sumptuous sands of Arg al-Ghoul. Take a relaxing break at the Al-Ajirimiya oasis: enjoy a few moments in the shade of the palm trees, lulled by the serenity of the place.
Arrival at the sands of Arg al-Ghoul one hour before sunset:
- Welcome tea and tent setup with the help of our team.
- Climb the highest sand peak to admire an unforgettable sunset.
Dinner around the fire: enjoy a traditional meal and discover the secrets of the stars thanks to the expertise of your guide.
Day 2: Exploration and Trekking
Wake up at sunrise
- Admire the sunrise over the golden dunes.
- Breakfast outdoors.
- Preparation for the trek: dismantling the tents and loading the luggage onto the camels.
Four-hour hike to the Kudayat Raml area
- Drive through breathtaking desert landscapes.
- Enter an area with a magnificent view in a circle surrounding the sand
Lunch
- Lunch and a well-deserved break until four in the afternoon.
Evening
- Tea cooked over a wood fire in an authentic atmosphere.
- Installation of tents in the heart of a natural circle surrounded by dunes.
- Ascent to admire the sunset and savor the unique night atmosphere of the desert.
- Festive outdoor dinner: desert tagines, soups and traditional dishes prepared by our chef.
Stargazing, an opportunity for star lovers to observe and learn about the stars through the experience of the nomads and the guide who accompany you.
Day 3: Walking and Discovery
Wake up early for a magical spectacle: sunrise over the dunes
Breakfast before setting off again for another day of adventure.
Four-hour walk to Ras al-Arq: Last leg of our journey
- Lunch and rest in the shade until the heat subsides.
- Free time in the evening: climbing the dunes and watching the sunset.
- Dinner around the fire with local music and unforgettable moments of sharing.
Day 4: Return to Foum Zguid
Waking up with the first rays of light on the sands of Erg al-Mahazel.
- Breakfast al fresco and a last breath of fresh desert air.
- Return by 4×4 to Foum Zguid via the dried-up lake of Iriqi and other emblematic sites.
