Day 1: Foum Zguid - Sands of Arg al-Mahazel
Departure by 4×4 from Foum Zguid in the afternoon
- Journey to the sands of Arg al-Mahazel.
- Stop at the Al-Ajirimiyah oasis for a photo break and a moment of rest in the shade of the palm trees.
Heading for Lake Iriqi
Cross natural sites of striking beauty
Arrival at the sands of Arg al-Mahazel:
- Set up one hour before sunset.
- Welcome tea and help setting up the tents with the staff.
- Climb to the top of a dune to watch the sunset and enjoy the desert landscape.
Dinner around the fire
Outdoor stargazing before sleeping in tents, in preparation for a day of discovery.
Day 2:Exploration and Trekking
Early morning wake-up call
- Admire the sunrise.
- Breakfast at 8:00 am.
Preparation for the trek
- The staff collects and folds the tents and mattresses, loading them onto the dromedaries for luggage transport.
Four-hour trek
- Walk through the desert to discover its secrets and the traces left by the ancients, like stone arrows.
Arrival at the sands of Arg lghoul
- Installing a shelter to protect yourself from the sun.
- Lunch and afternoon break.
- Tea at 4:00 p.m., followed by two hours of free time to explore the surrounding area and enjoy the dunes.
- Setting up tents for the night.
Dinner at 8:00 p.m.
Evening with local music, in the company of guides, followed by a night in tents.
Day 3: Return to Foum Zguid
Early morning wake-up call
Last wake-up call in the heart of the desert with a breathtaking view of the sunrise and breakfast.
Return by 4×4 to Foum Zguid
Passing through the dried-up lake of Iriqi.
End of the journey
